Terms of Use

Last updated October 8, 2026

Thanks for playing WordWild! By downloading or playing the game, or using this website, you agree to these terms.

Using WordWild

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use WordWild on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, as allowed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Please don't copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the game or its artwork, except where the law allows it.

Your content

Your progress is stored only on your device. We aren't responsible for progress that's lost if you delete the app, reset your device or reset your progress.

Ownership

WordWild, Wisp, the Ink Crow, the Moss Wolf, and the game's artwork, levels and code belong to us. The word list is based on the public-domain ENABLE list, and the everyday-word list on SCOWL, used under its licence. The fonts Lilita One and Nunito are used under the SIL Open Font License.

No warranty

WordWild is provided "as is". We work hard to make it fun and bug-free, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or available. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential damages from using the game.

Changes

We may update these terms as the game grows. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the new terms.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for WordWild or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
